Job responsibilities

• Act as a day to day leader focused on M&A, originates and executes M&A transactions out of Japan platform as well as from JPMorgan’s global clients while not specialized in certain industry sector but covers clients across all sectors
• Liaise with other product groups such as ECM, DCM and Markers to cross sell other products
• Lead dialogue with clients and transaction/marketing counterparties together with senior bankers

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• More than 5 years’ work experience in an investment banking front office role
• A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution
• Strong financial analytical skills
• Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, professionals and counterparties both in Japanese and English
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently/proactively
