Job Area:

This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with engineering, marketing, business development, product management, and third-party partners to ensure seamless planning and execution. The individual will be expected to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. With an ever-changing calendar and mix of technologies and products, this person must be flexible, able to multitask, act independently, and be proactive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and conduct technical demonstrations of Mobile Compute solutions at trade shows and events.

• Facilitate technical collaboration across engineering, marketing, business development, product management, and third-party partners for planning and execution.

• Develop innovative ideas and concepts to showcase Qualcomm’s products and innovations in engaging and experiential ways.

• Plan and prepare devices by installing and testing demonstrations to ensure they are bug-free and execute smoothly.

• Create comprehensive documentation, including installation procedures, instructions for running demonstrations, and talking points.

• Train other employees to conduct demos effectively and ensure they are well-versed in the messaging.

• Serve as the public spokesperson for Product Experiences at trade shows and events.

• Collaborate with compliance, legal, brand, and other internal teams to ensure all events adhere to their guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

• Work experience: 2+ years in engineering, program management, or marketing within the high-tech industry.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.

• Excellent program management, planning, and organizational skills.

• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

• Effective relationship-building and influencing skills.

• Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment and build alignment/consensus across technical and non-technical teams.

• Self-starter, resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment.
