This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Required Qualifications

• 7 + years software testing experience with automation
• advance understanding of software QA methodologies
• Experience in automation testing (QTP/Selenium) , Rest Assure
• Develop and implement automated testing solutions
• UI Automation testing - using Java and selenium, cucumber.
• Automated API testing using Rest
• Automation testing for angular/react based UI using Cypress, Protractor and javascript / typescript
• Performance testing using Load Runner and Jmeter
• CI/CD using using Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of test management tools such as Quality Center, Rally and/or JIRA
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Sharepoint, Visio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in dynamic environment with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Create a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.).
• Create and manage traceability. Trace tests forwards/backwards throughthe development lifecycle and back to requirements.
• Lead test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.
• Use testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and assistwith fulfillment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience in implementing process improvement opportunity in testing by following practices such as RBT and Optimization
• Prior experience in software development or knowledge of databases
• Prior experience working with an Agile-based development team

Responsibilities:

• Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
• Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria
• Leads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage
• Identifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
• Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
• Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
• Uses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments
