Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As Senior Specialist SEO at adidas your role is to drive organic traffic to adidas Emerging Markets eCom through onsite, offsite, and technical SEO initiatives. You work with the team and internal and external partners to develop data driven strategies based on analysis and present the impact of SEO projects to wider stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities / Authorities:
Scope: Contribution to specific deliverables or services
SEO
Working with internal stakeholders to develop and action on digital PR strategies that drive organic traffic growth
Leveraging the power of adidas brand and commercial partners to gain high quality backlinks
Getting stakeholder buy in for the SEO offsite strategy
Log file analysis, GSC audits and content monitoring
Identify and fix crawling or indexation issues and develop page cannibalization strategies
Technical audits to improve page performance, Core Web Vitals and site stability

Analysis and Testing
Measuring and reporting results of SEO activities and specific projects and communicating these to wider stakeholders
Running SEO split tests to validate the impact of SEO changes and initiatives
Using search data to create insights that guide decision making of other teams such as PR, Sports Marketing and Business Units like Running and Football.
Collaboration & Consulting
Be able to explain the impact of SEO on business objectives
Use data to get SEO initiatives prioritized and resourced.
Work cross-functionally with global and market teams to create synergies, address opportunities and drive revenue.
Best Practices & Toolsets
Build and maintain best practice toolsets and frameworks that drive scalability and executional excellence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Soft-Skills
Good communication skills, comfortable presenting in person and remotely
Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels
Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for SEO
Hard-Skills
Experience with SEO tools such as GSC, Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Searchmetrics
Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture
Understanding of the importance of tech SEO and the strategies needed to be successful in tech SEO
Understanding of Casual Impact data analysis and SEO testing
Experience of conducting SEO tech audits, log file analysis and Javascript SEO
Fluent English, both verbally and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in technical SEO, in-house or at a leading digital agency
University degree in the field of Business or equivalent
Experience with digital marketing in a brand environment
Experience working with Agile development teams
Experience in eCommerce environment
