The Data & AI Governance department enables extending the governance theme of policies, standards, processes and technology for governing data and AI to driving excellence in our approach to leveraging secure, trusted, accessible data for data driven decision making through:

  • An overarching Data & AI Policy to include associated standards
  • Data & AI Governance including meta and master data management
  • Data & AI Delivery Governance
  • Data & AI Quality including both technical and business quality measures

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply structured methodology to and lead project/change management activities
  • Own the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle
  • With supervision, lead low/medium complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) driving them through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation
  • Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Engage and influence stakeholders inside and if required outside of the organization: work collaboratively with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution and partner on segment or functional strategy projects
  • Contribute to the Project scoping and Planning by helping to document the project goal, KPIs, roadmap and main deliverables
  • Track and report progress; Create clear planning documents together with involved departments
  • Ensure a project closing and correct handover to Business as usual
  • Ability to work and productively interact with different stakeholders up to Director level.

  • Written:Ability to construct relevant written communications, ranging from emails, slides or entire presentations. These materials are as simple as possible, concise and structured with a clear narrative and argument
  • Adaptation/Open to Feedback:Ability to adapt and adjust format, style & content of communication to connect & engage with the specific audience
  • Technical aspects (project management):Lead best practice behaviors and plan, run and effectively deliver a strategic or operational project or program
  • Decision making(qualitative & quantitative at hand): Conduct effective and well structured qualitative & quantitative analysis which you use to be decisive
  • Resilience:Ability to keep a cool head and a “pushing through” mentality to bring things over the finish line.

  • : Know the right people to influence & the most effective methods & materials to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Connecting: Connect the dots across the business and effectively build and deploy trusted networks across the organization to help solve problems and implement advice. In the connection, drives simplicity and brings the discussion back to its core essence when needed
  • Business Mobilization & Buy-in: Convince (operational) teams to take action against objectives, and create a sense of urgency for delivery via winning others over and creating win-win solutions.

  • Detail vs. Big picture:Strike the right balance between solving for the detail while understanding & accounting for the bigger picture
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to understand strategic problems and bring back to simple structure & articulating the key problem to be solved
  • Generalist:Understand the context given multidisciplinary skill-set so it can be useful to different teams very quickly. Help leverage leaders time by taking chunks of work off their hands
  • Independent advisor: Be sought out by senior leaders to provide a transparent and broad perspective, bring alternative viewpoints, strategic insight and candid feedback without preconceptions or baggage, and a neutral sounding board to test ideas and brainstorm
  • Dealing with ambiguity: Operate in projects and areas of uncertainty and able to define scope and responsibilities if not clearly defined. Does not get lost in an ambiguous environment

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience with Data Governance and effectively running departments.
  • Experience with Project Management tooling such as Jira and Spreadsheets.

Requirements of special knowledge/skills

  • Familiarity with project/change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • A good understanding of how people go through the change curve and the change process
  • Good Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts is an advantage
  • Experience with working on Business Operations and Data
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (both within a team and with wider stakeholders)
  • Ability to work effectively and influence up to Senior Managers
  • Effectively communicate in 1:1 and small groups; Strong influencer in 1:1
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Knowledge of similar industries and/or business projects is an advantage.
  • PMP or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is preferred.
