We make the “European Project” progress by helping our clients to:
- Gather evidence to identify main needs, challenges, drivers, and impacts;
- Anticipate change and design public policy responses;
- Provide technical solutions and implement them;
- Coordinate the interaction with key stakeholders and communicate decisions and actions to them.
You will be joining our team which has a high-profile, expanding EU project portfolio across a range of policy topics such as standardisation and product safety, industry & sustainability, digital markets, consumer empowerment & awareness , market surveillance, SMEs and entrepreneurship. We currently run projects and framework contracts for DG GROW, DG JUST, DG CNCT, DG NEAR, DG FISMA, EISMEA, the EP IMCO and ITRE committees and others.
Your Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Manager, a motivated individual who can lead and develop teams to work autonomously in line with our vision, mission, and values. As Manager you:
- manage complex projects, ensuring excellence in stakeholder engagement, and deliver evidence based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of our clients;
- have strong project management skills (with the ability to follow specific project management methodologies);
- provide intellectual & methodological leadership in EU projects and proposals;
- have an established network of partners and experts whom you will be able to activate from day one to win, manage and deliver diverse technical assistance projects;
- organise and coordinate day-to-day implementation of specific contracts (client facing role, with ability to guide the team towards achievement of project results, and ensuring the quality of the desk research and analysis, surveys, interviews, stakeholder and community management, reporting, etc.);
- coordinate and lead the proposal preparation process, including identification of relevant partners, development of methodologies, organisation and planning of the work and submission process;
- contribute to the leadership and growth of the team by bringing fresh and innovative ideas;
- encourage collaboration and mutual learning;
- contribute to the internal training programme and help to develop junior team members.
In addition, as a Manager you will be able to provide supportive leadership to the IMC team. You will have an evidence in building business or strong interest in internal market & consumers area.
Your Profile
You have:
- Master degree in European Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in overseeing project delivery, quality control , client orientation and conflict resolution.
- At least 2 years proven experience assisting management in an international/European Union context.
- Excellent communication and business development skills proven by previous experience.
- Ability to lead large multidisciplinary and multicultural teams involving partners, experts, and internal teams.
- Ability to foster talents of colleagues by leading by example and fostering opportunities to learn and grow.
- Experience of writing and winning competitive bids.
- Ability to write and communicate with clients, partners, experts, and colleagues in excellent English.
