Position Overview:

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following main tasks:
- Responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of Office EHS, Motor Vehicle Safety, and compliance programs at our company’s commercial business in China.
- Ensures completion of all regulatory submissions and notifications required to maintain compliance with all regulatory and EHS requirements.
- Provide support to the Commercial EHS committee to ensure that strategies to achieve EHS goals that align with the Global Safety and Environment department and our company's business goals, standards, and values are implemented.
- Partners with the Business to drive prioritization of regulatory compliance, continuous performance improvement, and integration of safety and regulatory performance objectives into standard work processes
- Partners with service providers and business leaders to ensure compliance with the Global Motor Vehicle Safety program.
- Supports the business by addressing safety concerns, performing regulatory tracking, advocacy support, technical expertise, risk mitigation efforts, and technical training.
- Completes frequent program assessments and data analytics to evaluate performance against the global EHS programs.
- Escalates concerns through management as appropriate.
- Provide clear and concise EHS performance reports to senior operational leaders that are actionable and promote the implementation of EHS programs.
- Completes working visits to Commercial sites as needed.
- Travel about 25% of the time.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of applied professional EHS work experience.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English. Proven ability to present information clearly and concisely through all levels of an organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to quickly adjust to changing situations.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or above Degree with a concentration in Safety or Environmental related technical discipline;
- Experience with Fleet Safety and Office Safety;
- Relevant EHS professional certification. Example: CSE, NEBOSH, CSP, CHMM, or equivalent.
