Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The purpose of this position is to extend SAP's market coverage by generating new pipeline through:
- The creation and execution of Demand Generation "DG" campaigns against a target territory (list of accounts). The typical DG campaign execution model revolves around a combination of emails, phone calls and social touches towards targeted prospects within assigned territory.
- The execution of specialized initiatives related to existing pipeline, such as recycling/reviving discontinued / disqualified leads or nurturing aged pipeline.
The Sales Development Senior Specialist (referred to as Sales Development Executive "SDE") has the following responsibilities:
- Provides executive supports to several Sales Executives "SE" and is usually attached to a regional Digital Hub. The Sales Development Senior Specialist is an active participant to the territory and account planning effort for their assigned list of accounts.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist generates and qualifies leads through proper means (cold calling, phone campaigns, email actions, etc) as agreed with management, and eventually hands over fully qualified leads to their assigned MSEs for further sales progress.
- Depending on the regional setup of Marketing Inbound routing rules, the Sales Development Senior Specialist can oversee qualifying and progressing Marketing Inbound leads.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist documents all campaign execution and lead/opportunity management activities using the adequate systems correctly, working together with their manager as necessary.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist assesses their target markets and accounts, identifies prospects aligned to the targeted SAP Solution personas and gather insights to craft the best possible communication strategy to capture prospects’ interest.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist positions the SAP solutions competitive advantage in their key targeted industries, commmunicating with their prospects how how to leverage SAP technology to drive incremental business outcomes.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist manages prospects relationships and expands reach into targeted accounts to collect the necessary deal qualification insights to progress further their sales qualified leads and opportunities.
For continuous learning and growth, these are the Training & Enablement requirements:
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist participates in management mandated enablement activities to enhance their demand generation and product/solution skills, including but not limited to classroom training, e-learning, or mentor-lead activities.
- The Sales Development Senior Specialist completes and validates all Level 1 enablement activities within 3 months and Level 2 activities within 12 months.
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Demand Generation or Inside Sales environment
- Preferabley TeleMarketing experience, specifically high-volume phone-centric work
- High volume activity working environments, involving phone and a CRM / contact management system
- Advanced English Level
- Education: Bachelor or equivalent business experience
