As Electrical Installation Technician you will be responsible for powering up new racks in order to increase AWS server and network capacity (involves work on ATS's, PDC's and Catchers).

- Setting and maintaining the highest standards for safety and actively promoting a world-class safety culture in all aspects of operational procedure
- Driving continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, while delivering performance against agreed metrics
- Follow the standard operation procedures and track issues through appropriate entries into a Trouble Ticket system.
- Prioritize appropriately in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Perform the power up of all racks and rack based systems.
- Power whip preparation, installation and deployment.
- Perform system walk throughs to verify proper installation of racks and updating of their related Monitoring SystemsPhysical requirements:
- Work at heights and from ladders.
- Perform physical tasks on a daily basis.
- Work in a noisy environment with ear protection
- Wear personal protection equipment (PPE).About the team

- Professional Electrical Certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC), Registered Electrical Contractor (REC), or equivalent)
- Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
- Highly proficient in verbal and written English
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus
- Willing to travel between Data center sites, and internationally if required
