ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Specialized Solution Lead in the EMEA ONE Solutioning Center, you will:

  • Be the main contact for clients to understand their business context, IT infrastructure, and business and technical needs.
  • Organize and oversee the development of solutions, project engineering, and provide expertise on business AI, Clean Core and BTP for the target solution.
  • Bring new creative solutions and methods for business AI, Clean Core and BTP to the customer's business environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the solutioning team, delivery teams, bid manager, project manager, and MU stakeholders.
  • Represent the Solutioning Center in customer or Market Unit meetings for business AI, Clean Core and BTP.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY


Enterprise architecture design within the space of business AI, Clean Core and BTP:

  • Assess what customers need to adopt in the space of business AI, Clean Core and BTP.
  • Support the customers in the development or maintenance of the architecture vision, strategy and roadmap for Clean Core, business AI and BTP solutions.
  • Lead the integration of AI and machine learning technologies into core business processes.
  • Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the entire solutioning process, including the planning and approach
  • Assemble a team of subject matter experts to help design the to-be architecture based on the SAP product family.
  • Conducting workshops with the customer to define the solution architecture and agree on the design.
  • Analyzing and defining requirements for any custom development or integration needs.
  • Ensuring the overall proposed architecture is integrated and consistent, and that effort estimations and timelines are complete.
  • Supporting the consolidation of the scope content and estimates, as well as delivery commitment and quality reviews.
  • Reporting progress and status of the solutioning engagement to the Market Unit Bid Manager and Solutioning Center Cockpit.

Project Engineering:


In case no project manager is assigned, the specialized solutioning lead should for his domain be able to:

  • Draw up a project approach
  • Introduce innovative approaches (Rise Adoption Methodology, Clean core, …)
  • Make project estimations for the effort and timeline
  • Develop and use estimation approaches to deliver a rough-order-of magnitude or binding estimation
  • Draw up a resource plan/mix
  • List the project deliverables and responsibilities
  • Complement the list of assumptions

Technical Leadership:

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and other project stakeholders.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in AI, Clean Core, and BTP solutions
  • Together with other (regional or global) teams, continuously develop approaches or services for customers to understand the value of business AI, Clean Core and BTP and for them to decide to adopt. Support the execution of the developed services, measure and report success.
  • Take ownership of one or more internal improvement projects (for example the design of an AI search tool for the solutioning center).

EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate for the specialized solutioning lead role should have extensive expertise as enterprise Architect (+5 years) for business AI, Clean Core, BTP and come with project management skills.
  • The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in BTP and integration technologies in a multi-cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and with the SAP tools like SAP Discovery Center, Clean Core services (ICCM, etc), BTP Solution Diagrams, Gen AI technologies (Gen AI Hub, Agent Builder, Joule, etc)
  • Proficient in project methodologies like SAP Activate methodology (PMBOK, Agile) and Enterprise Architecture Methodology (TOGAF).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA (Intelligent Enterprise) and expertise in at least one domain of it.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Experience in the EMEA region or knowledge of languages such as Turkish, Spanish, French, Dutch, or Portuguese would also be advantageous.
