In this role,
you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:

  • Human Centered

    • You’ll collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional research to define future feature design

    • You'll breakdown business epics into features and further into user stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for a valid feature test

  • Business Focused

    • Demonstrating a growth mindset, you’ll effectively use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure your product or feature delivers on real business needs

    • You’ll own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk

  • Technology Driven

    • You’ll have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business

    • You’ll work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience your team will deliver always looking to ensure you’re using the best tool for the job

  • Transformational Leadership

    • You’ll actively participate in horizontal forums, and harness a network of trusted relationships among tech teams, designers, key internal stakeholders and partner teams

    • You’ll contribute to team culture and recruiting by leading activities to attract and retain top talent and mentoring and developing junior product associates

As a Product Manager on the UI Platforms team, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our Enterprise design system, driving high-quality customer experiences across our digital products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company, including designers, developers, and other stakeholders, to define and prioritize design system requirements.

  • Conduct regular customer interviews and usability testing to identify areas for improvement and ensure the design system meets user needs.

  • Manage the design system roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision and strategic goals.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design systems, incorporating relevant innovations to keep the system current and competitive.

  • Formally define and measure the success of the design system through OKRs (objectives and key results), and drive these metrics to maximize business impact.

  • Conceive, develop, and execute strategic plans for the UI Platforms team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • MBA or Master’s degree

  • 3+ years of experience in Agile product management

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
