Leads LC&E’s strategic planning and execution process ensuring alignment of daily work to strategic business goals. Manages reporting cycle and deliverables working as the primary interface between LC&E and critical business operations functions.
Manages execution of the LC&E management operating system and associated tools and resources, leads continuous improvement initiatives, and facilitates LC&E enterprise risk reviews.
Leads operational excellence for LC&E incorporates best-practices and benchmarks of industry- recognized framework for Legal Operations core competencies.
Develops and reviews key performance indicators and analytics that provide valuable performance insight and drive business decisions.
Identifies Strategic Outreach opportunities for LC&E to support FM&T’s pillars of community engagement.
Manages & monitors all LC&E projects for opportunities to minimize duplicate efforts while maximizing efficiency.
Develops and manages execution of the long-range technology Roadmap for the department.
Provides strategic oversite of Enterprise Records Management Program initiatives, ensuring compliance with Federal and Corporate requirements.
Provides strategic oversite for the enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) Program. Simultaneously integrates the KM framework into LC&E’s standard work practices to capture critical and enduring knowledge
Directly manages the Legal Operations department including oversight, execution of, and compliance with the procedural requirements of the Legal Management Plan
Leads governance for the enterprise level information review and release process, ensuring appropriate safeguards for all technical and non-technical information shared outside of FM&T.
Leads LC&E standardization system for maturing the execution of the Management Operating System and associated tools; internal LSS expert.
Generates and manages execution of the LC&E internal financial plans and budgets including internal allocation for various groups, and compliance with financial requirements of the Legal Management Plan, develops and proposes subsequent fiscal year’s budget, and five-year projection.
Supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring manager, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
You Must Have
Bachelor`s degree in Business Management or related discipline.
Minimum nine years of combined experience in all phases of corporate legal practice including a thorough knowledge of government procurement regulations.
Minimum two years' experience in directly managing a team.
Minimum three years’ experience managing projects with demonstrated successful results.
Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business.
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
