Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to the Our Company's organization and teams regarding conduct of business in line with Our Company's SOPs and in line with industry regulations (PIF – Pharmaceutical Industry Finland and EFPIA – European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations)
  • Ensures compliance of our commercial activities with company SOPs to include monitoring and periodic quality assurance reviews.
  • Advises organization on third-party contract development to include ensuring compliance of contracts with our SOPs and contract archiving / retention requirements in company-wide contract repository (Cloudia)
  • Advises on the implementation and operation of SOPs within the context of Customer Relationship management systems (CRM) and other relevant enterprise compliance tracking /monitoring systems (enterprise learning system)
  • Proactively communicates with team leads and management about improvements in business practices to mitigate compliance risk
  • Support the Managing Director to enhance awareness on Company’s Values and Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs and Guidance;
  • Acts as Country Privacy Steward and first point of contact for employees for privacy-related matters; leads implementation of new or revised privacy requirements
  • Acts as Country Compliance champion to include leading role out of new SOPs inclusive of organizational training as relevant
  • Co-chairs monthly compliance committee and concept review board with Managing Director to ensure ongoing and active monitoring of the conduct of Our Company’s business practices in line with SOPs
  • Leads relevant preparations as required for internal and external business practice audits

  • Share best practices internally and always seek for improvements
  • Take ownership of compliance and best practices related information sources on a local level
  • Seek simplification in order to help commercial teams to minimize administrative burden

Education, Background & Experience

  • University degree, preferably in law or biopharmaceuticals
  • At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and business practice/compliance/legal or regulatory department
  • Knowledge of the Finnish pharmaceutical market to include operating standards defined by the the industry association (Pharmaceutical Industry Finland)
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems (e.g. Veeva) and translation of SOPs with respect to customer engagements into system documentation requirements
  • Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience from audit processes and compliance framework execution
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, with excellent communication skills.
