Job Summary

What you will do

  • Deliver successful Red Hat OpenShift workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions.

  • The activities are focused on infrastructure focused topics like OpenShift operational architecture, OpenShift Virtualization, Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Red Hat Advanced Container Security (ACS)

  • Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concept and pilot deployments.

  • Design, create, and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support Red Hat OpenShift solutions at scale.

  • Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products

  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the OpenShift communities by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry leading conferences.

  • Understand customer challenges and how the Red Hat OpenShift portfolio can be used to develop new strategic sales opportunities.

What you will bring

  • 10+ years of across industry experience in the IT field

  • 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes/Container software solutions (preferably with a focus on infrastructure and operations)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company

  • Track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives

  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

  • Solutions-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services

  • Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers

  • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought

  • Business-level communication and presentation skills in German and English

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
