W orks as an individual contributor, involved in data engineering on Snowflake enterprise data warehousing (EDW) and/or databricks bigdata activities and replicable to deliver the standard solution across various platforms.

This role requires experience in Snowflake (EDW) or Databricks (Bigdata)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Learn/understand standard process/practice to develop data pipelines.
• Connect with business partners and identify opportunities to drive business value via analytics solutions.
• Develop or build publication-ready data pipelines using diverse sets of structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure data pipelines are created using credible qualitative and quantitative methodologies based on key insights.
• Pays high attention to data accuracy. In depth understanding of data identification, collection, processing, and analysis methodologies.
• Work with Honeywell businesses and Enterprise IT teams to clearly outline how enterprise platforms can enable business growth & productivity by seamlessly combining structured and unstructured data into a single, self-service analytical environment.
• Leverage knowhow and domain knowledge of Honeywell experts to define, design and develop intelligent solutions to operate on large data sets related to Supply Chain.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in engineering/Technology degree or equivalent

Specialized in Computer Science, Software Engineering/Information Technology or related field is preferred

Certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) / Azure Data Solution Certification / AWS Solution

Azure / Snowflake / Databricks / SQL / Python / Scala / and Visualization techniques Certification is preferred

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience working in data engineering or cloud platforms.
• Object ordinated programing skills.
• Good knowledge in SQL

Essential skills:

• Experience working with any of the data engineering skills like No SQL, Kafka, Hadoop etc.
• Good data crunching/profiling and presentation/interpretation skills- Story building.
• Working knowledge of cloud / Big data Platform like Azure or AWS
• Must be a good communicator of vision, ideas, and work requirements
• Must be an innovative and integrative thinker quick to visualize solutions and generate ideas
• Team Player, open to feedback, and flexible & adoptable to changing needs.

Desired skills:

• Exposer to agile and DevOps methodologies
• Developing IoT connectivity using cloud platforms.
