Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems. Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters.
• Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
• Coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.This position may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA. Federal law also requires Amazon to determine an applicant's DOT drug and/or alcohol testing history prior to hiring him/her into a position that would require them to conduct safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
• Current Part 107 certificate holder
• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Current Third-Class Medical
• Availability to work in shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real-time monitoring role
• Knowledge of Aviation Safety Standards
