Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for a broad portfolio of International and/or large Irish domestic clients.
- Provision of Tax Consulting advice to some of the world’s largest multi-national groups.
- Advising clients on large and complex cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, group restructurings, IP alignment planning, transfer pricing etc.
- Assisting clients in developing international Tax strategies and keeping up to date on Tax developments.
- Working closely with Partners and other team members in providing advice to clients on a wide range of International Tax advisory projects.
- Project Management of Irish and cross-border planning projects.
- Researching and reviewing Tax technical memorandum and reports.
- Liaising with Irish Revenue and foreign Tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Opportunities to work with other service lines across Assurance, Strategy, Consulting, and Transactions.
- Supervising and mentoring a large team across numerous levels.
What we look for
- A qualified Tax consultant, with good corporate Tax experience and ideally some international Tax experience.
- Should be comfortable dealing with clients and building relationships.
- They will be a good communicator, self-motivated and capable of leading a team.
- Will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of international and/or domestic corporate Tax clients.
- Be involved in the development of the wider Tax team as well as leading business development initiatives.
