As a Technical Writer at JFrog you will…
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements, create outlines, and document new features
  • Produce structured, clean, and intuitive end-user documentation, including user guides, release notes, use cases, API content, and more
  • Understand user personas and their goals as part of creating content, ensuring it meets user needs rather than just describing product features
  • Participate in usability efforts for new developments, including writing microcopy (UX writing) and providing feedback on UX/UI for the product
  • Participate in the rewriting and restructuring of existing content
  • Track features and enhancements using Jira and other tools, identifying requirements and writing new content to accompany releases
  • Collaborate with other writers on projects such as updating the documentation style guide, contributing to the design system, and contributing to our internal wiki
To be a Technical Writer at JFrog you need…
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in an enterprise software development environment
  • English at native level
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain key relationships
  • Excellent writing skills with an ability to structure content effectively and write clearly
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
  • Capable of working accurately and quickly with attention to detail
Advantages
  • Experience with topic-based authoring and content reuse

  • Experience with REST APIs, Open API 3.0 (Swagger)
