Responsibilities:

  • Continuously help evolve the organization and the individual teams to remain effective and compliant while reducing scale. Design and implement strategies and processes that generate improvement, drive efficiency, and control risk. Create durability that is consistent with the length of residual obligations and activities
  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams
  • Provide leadership for change management including work efforts, projects, and programs for recently completed divestitures. Provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone reporting process and other PTS reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Work with Technology leadership to support the business strategy
  • Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the Profit & Loss (P&L) to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Work with business leadership and FP&A to ensure headcount is accurate and planned appropriately
  • Support integration of new teams as divestitures are completed in additional countries
  • Ensure internal service providers have appropriate tracking and reporting to meet internal or external requirements
  • Build an effective team through hiring exceptional candidates, coaching, collaboration, and motivation of staff.
  • May present information and results to Holdings management as well as various governance forums.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Involved in short- and medium-term planning for broad issues affecting operations
  • Applies broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas as well as underlying business values. Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources
  • Thorough knowledge of how own function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business goals; requires a good working knowledge of the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of comprehensive experience in Business Planning and Analysis (BPNA) coupled with extensive Program management Office experience.
  • Develop and implement operations strategies, oversee initiatives, and manage expense and headcount planning/forecasting across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills with financial models, with at least 2-3 years of experience as a Model Risk Management (MRM) model sponsor preferred.
  • Should have proven track record of driving Operational efficiency through performance management and productivity saves initiatives aligned with Citi’s tactical pillars.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Citi's technology infrastructure, with a track record of successful technology projects and implementations.
  • Exhibit proven capabilities in Records management and governance combined with clear understanding of the associated risks and controls responsibilities.
  • Experience in handling divestiture related activities and complaints management along with deep understanding of various aspects of operational transition.
  • Third Party Management experience as a Business Activity Owner is a plus, with focus on continuity, consistency, and monitoring potential conflicts of interest.
  • At least 10-15 years of people leadership experience as manager of managers, including at least 5 years of managing regional teams in different Asian markets.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
