We're hiring a senior UI Developer to help build the next generation risk system for Citi's Markets businesses. We are utilizing cutting edge technology to meet complex trader, supervisory and regulatory requirements, and the demands of an increasingly electronic business.
The development position involves:
Development of high-quality, modern UIs for developers, support, quants and finance staff
Participation in a fast-paced Agile development process
Development of high-quality software, emphasizing simplicity, maintainability and reuse
Participation in code and design reviews
Requirements analysis and capture, working closely with the business and business aligned teams to define solutions
Thorough automated testing using unit and integration tests
Contributing to architectural standards, development best practices, and promoting adherence to these standards
Contributing to architectural and technical evolution of frameworks and APIs
Influence the strategy of the team
What we’ll need from you:
Minimum 6 years commercial experience, 3 years experience with React
Strong knowledge of modern HTML, Node,js, npm, JavaScript, TypeScript & CSS
Understanding of and experience with RESTful web services and API design
Precise, high quality approach - but also pragmatic and collaborative
Good understanding of data structures and solid computer science fundamentals
Experience with GraphQL, micro-frontends and working in Investment Banking or finance
