Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Leadership Framework
  • Design Leadership Development Programs
    Lead the creation and implementation of innovative leadership development programs for Director through VP levels. Use a variety of methods such as cohort-based learning, leader-led sessions, coaching, job rotations, and on-the-job experiences.
  • Facilitate Leadership Experiences
    Deliver high-impact leadership development experiences (in-person and virtual) that promote self-awareness, real-time feedback, reflection, and coaching. Create psychologically safe environments that enable authentic leadership growth.
  • Blended & Scalable Learning Solutions
    Develop and deploy individual leadership journeys that integrate blended learning approaches including live sessions, virtual experiences, and self-paced content.
  • Team Effectiveness & Development
    Design and lead multi-phase team development experiences including assessments, action planning, and facilitated learning sessions to improve leadership team dynamics and performance.
  • Measure Leadership Impact
    Use 360 feedback tools and other data sources to assess leadership effectiveness and inform continuous improvement. Establish clear metrics to evaluate the impact of programs on leader capability and business performance.
  • Partner to Develop Top Talent
    Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to identify top talent and provide targeted development experiences. Support succession planning by building readiness of key individuals for critical leadership roles.
  • Drive Senior Leader Accountability
    Engage and influence senior leaders to take ownership for developing their teams, leveraging tools and frameworks to build a culture of continuous development and feedback.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational development, or talent management, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role (preferably managing leaders)
  • Deep expertise in adult learning, leadership theory, team dynamics, and executive development
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate leadership programs across multiple modalities (in-person, virtual, multi-session, experiential)
  • Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong command of leadership assessment tools (e.g., 360 feedback) and coaching frameworks
  • Technologically fluent with experience in using digital platforms, learning management systems, and content curation tools
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align leadership development initiatives with organizational strategy
  • Proven ability to influence and engage leaders at all levels, particularly senior and executive leadership
  • Collaborative and systems-thinking mindset with the ability to co-create solutions with HRBPs, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits Details

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
