We are seeking a dedicated Service Operations and Training Manager to oversee daily operations for a product line and develop and provide training to hospital biomedical engineers This role involves implementing strategies and processes to improve service quality and post-sale customer satisfaction and creating a biomedical training curriculum. This individual will also serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy · Lead and assist in daily operations; serving as point person for internal and external stakeholders for equipment service needs
- Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute customer technical training· Develop and implement curriculum and post-training service guides · Support franchise leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- Minimum 2 years experience as a field service engineer
