As an SoC Power/Performance Architect, your job responsibilities will include:Drive SoC average power architecture innovation from the platform perspectiveLead explorations through the power management design space to rapidly identify promising efficiency opportunitiesCollaborate with SoC peak power and thermal architects as well as system power management expertsIdentify paths to optimize the average power characteristics of new SoC performance featuresPartner with software and system integration stakeholders to ensure effective use of SoC power management capabilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of SoC microarchitecture
- Experience with SoC power analysis and modeling
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with SoC power management feature definition
- Understanding of the power-related physics in modern SoCs
