As a Risk Management - Wholesale Credit Risk Policy Document Associate in the Wholesale Credit Portfolio Analytics team, you will develop value added risk analytics solutions through the deployment of advanced analytical frameworks on top of the firm’s big data resources. In this role, you will focus on leveraging data to enhance the current end-to-end credit risk process across all of Credit Risk.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of credit risk documents that includes working with document owners to write documents, solicit and incorporate feedback, obtain document owner approvals and publish to the firm wide policy portal.
  • Manage the WCR document governance process and maintaining strong controls. This includes challenging content.
  • Lead with authority, drives decisions and influences stakeholders through the governance process and provide training, if necessary.
  • Lead cross-line of business and regional projects through multiple platforms (e.g. Forums, working group sessions, and deep dives).
  • Lead meetings with functional support groups to participate in initiatives and align on the transformation of risk policy priorities.
  • Create and present reporting related to progress, inventory status and highlight obstacles and challenges while suggesting solutions.
  • Prepare senior management presentations and provide updates on deliverables and team projects.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines and a constantly changing environment.
  • High degree of initiative, self-direction, ability to work well under pressure and learn quickly.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take on responsibilities that may fall outside your immediate area of expertise.
  • Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and regions. Appreciate the value of working in partnership with others to influence change and accomplish individual and team goals.

Preferred qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Credit Risk concepts preferable.
  • WCR audit, control, policy or governance experience preferable.
