About the Role

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you'll play a crucial role in expanding Uber Eats' footprint in the UK Grocery & Retail sector. You’ll be a strategic problem solver, excelling in project and partner management, while driving innovative growth strategies tailored to the local market.

What You Will Do
  • Own key grocery relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic partners.
  • Drive business growth: Collaborate with partners to develop and execute strategies that expand their business, including location deployments, marketing efforts, and sales growth.
  • Lead commercial discussions: Engage in negotiations to foster sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Enhance operational efficiency: Identify and implement improvements in processes, tools, and resources to drive operational success.
  • Utilize data-driven insights: Analyze performance metrics to prioritize initiatives with the highest ROI, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.
  • Shape partner interactions: Define and refine the approach for interacting with merchant partners, ensuring optimal alignment with Uber Eats' goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of customer or client-facing experience, preferably in Tech, Retail, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of exceeding business targets and delivering results beyond expectations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate complex business environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across various business levels.
  • Experience in process optimization, with the ability to translate big-picture ideas into actionable plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing executive-level relationships in a customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, particularly with large-scale, complex initiatives.
