About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to support the business management and strategic directive of the Corporate Investment Bank across Banking coverage industries and product origination teams like M&A, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets. Role will work with executive leaders to develop & execute on strategic initiatives, competitive benchmarking, executing human capital strategies, and perform data analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Strategic planning supporting the executive head of CIB and direct reports running Verticals and Products on performance of sectors, bankers, initiatives, and the P&L
- Data analysis, integrating financials, and key performance indicators into streamlined executive presentations often by human capital dimensions, wallet share analysis, and competitor fee performance
- Business planning, sales planning, and analyzing performance of clients, investment bankers, and corporate bankers
- Supporting Corporate Investment Bank wide initiatives and developing sector/product strategies
- Analyze industry level reporting including from 3rd party data providers like Dealogic and Towers Watson for competitor benchmarking
- Work with CIB executives on content to ensure seamless executive messaging and communications across townhalls, events, client messaging, and other forums
- Plan and lead regular recurring initiative meetings including preparation of all presentations materials and tracking action items
- Research and analyzing client information and data across multiple tools and platforms including: client profitability systems, loan tracking system, company hierarchy management platform, CRMs
- Oversight of the work products from Analysts and Associate consultants across the COO business management function
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years ofBusiness Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planningexperience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis, Analytics
- Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) and market data vendors like: Dealogic, Bloomberg, Factset, Moody’s, S&P, etc...
- Experience in financial analysis including company assessment (leverage, working capital, etc…), global market awareness (currency, commodities, trading, etc…), and internal client/LOB financial performance analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and propose solutions to various levels of staff and executivemanagement
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and experience creating executive level presentations
- Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

New York, NY: $115,900 - $206,100
