Your key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders, leading and supporting the SRM team in supporting business owners in achieving their goals and objectives reliant on supplier performance of contract obligations.
- Willingness to work during European & early North America business hours with stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional service to stakeholders while delivering both brand and quantitative value through contract value realization
- Ensure the successful delivery of tactical SRM services provided by third parties specifically in support of Microsoft
- Understand our global supplier footprint, types of contracts signed, and supplier deliverables and obligations as defined in the contracts, demonstrating a strong understanding of the category and building/driving the future roadmap
- Have a strong understanding of key suppliers, their capabilities and their position in the market
- Ensure SRM engagement with business stakeholders, procurement specialists and supplier account teams
- Work with senior stakeholders to help develop a supplier strategy which supports the overall global SRM strategy
- Help suppliers be successful in delivering their services at EY
- Drive improvements in processes, policy, systems, management information and reporting
- Build strong relationships with business partners including Technology, Legal (GCO), Global Client Serving Partners, Sector Leaders, etc.
- Manage the training, development and performance of team members, helping them develop their leadership, strategic development skills, supplier relationship management expertise and people management skills
- Ensure consistent use of the SRM framework

- Strong business acumen and commercial skills to drive supplier relationship management strategies across a broad array of portfolios for the Global Procurement function
- Understanding of the commercial drivers of supplier performance
- Strong negotiator and influencer capable of driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders
- Solid leadership skills
- Collaborative team member valuing cooperation and teamwork
- Extensive knowledge of the SRM landscape and specifically Microsoft with deep understanding of their offerings and solutions across cloud, managed services, and the datacenter
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders
- The ability to drive change by building strong, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders, business partners and suppliers
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Business or Technology Degree or relevant experience for role demonstrable in a similar industry/s]
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience including experience within technology suppliers and specifically Microsoft
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business English with senior stakeholders, Client Service employees, Alliance teams, and senior supplier management
- People management experience
- Domestic and/or international travel for strategic planning, stakeholder meetings, people management, project coordination and implementation may be required.
