Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhat We Want You to Do
Order Management
- Process, review and maintain data integrity of sales orders for completeness and accuracy and alignment between IBM and Apptio systems.
- Work cross-functionally and globally within Apptio and IBM to resolve order-related issues, business and data challenges, and respond to escalation and exception requests.
Data Management & Analysis
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and dashboard requests for sales and sales leadership.
- Maintain Apptio Salesforce data cleanliness in alignment with IBM systems through execution of proactive review cadences, SFDC reporting and dashboard creation and monitoring.
- Support sales team members and sales leadership with forecast management cadences and regular monitoring.
- Work collaboratively to support EMEA account and opportunity hygiene on an ongoing basis.
Project Management
- Work with leadership and cross-functional groups to collaborate and implement on major sales-related projects.
- Proactively search for areas to improve our seller productivity and operations with data, systems analysis, white space analysis, and highlighting process gaps.
Enablement
- Act as an SME supporting Apptio and IBM sellers with training on quoting, systems and operational processes related to the sale of Apptio products.
- Support as a change management agent with training of new systems, processes, and engagement efforts between Apptio and IBM sales.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a Sales Operations, Deal Desk, or Finance role.
- Strong Salesforce.com experience
- Understanding of Quote to Cash procedures.
- Ability to learn new tools and applications quickly.
- Demonstrating high-level problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Inclined to work collaboratively with other departments and peers.
- Flexible work hours during peak demand
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hold a Bachelor Degree or higher degree from a University.
- Experience working in start-up as well as larger organizations. Acquisition experience a bonus.
- Previous experience working with sales at a SaaS based company.
- Have a solid understanding of the sales process techniques and strategies.
