Key requirements

• Management of the production unit/units and implementation of the production strategy and achieving production requirements through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles, Honeywell Operating System
• Effective use and optimization of production capacities, planning, inventory management at assigned workplaces, responsibility for maintaining a high level of quality, for production costs, reduction of production times, continuous improvement
• Responsibility for timely fulfillment and reporting of set goals and metrics (overhead hours, productivity, quality/poor quality, etc.)
• Responsibility for leading the assigned team (approx. 5 team leaders and 50 operators, in which they plan, distribute, manage, control and evaluate the work of team members, motivate them and report to superiors on the status of task performance) and team development – work with employee development tools, responsibility for training subordinate employees to the extent determined by the educational needs matrices
• Active participation in projects, project management, company development, identification of cost reduction opportunities, improvement of equipment performance and work productivity and communication with support teams – Engineering, Quality Engineering, Material Management, Planning, Maintenance, HR,..

Key skills and qualifications

• At least a high school education with a high school diploma,
• Managerial experience - experience with managing people is a requirement, ideally in a manufacturing company,
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma methods (Green Belt, Black Belt an advantage),
• Intermediate knowledge of English,
• Knowledge of working with MS Office programs, experience with SAP is an advantage
