Informatica Principal Workday Technical Analyst

You will be responsible for leveraging and subject matter expertise, gain and have a thorough understanding of Informatic a's business priorities, strategy, and direction.

Technology You'll Use

Workday, Reporting , Core HCM, Integrations

Report Creation and Management:

• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts in Workday.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of all reports and data outputs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
• Identify areas where HRIS systems can be leveraged, extended, processes can be changed/automated or existing solutions can be enhanced

Integration Creation and Management

• Serve as the subject matter expert on large collections of Workday integrations
• Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday Integrations
• Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life cycle
• Work with business stakeholders to determine problem areas and overall impact of projects
• Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to more forward the overall Workday strategy for Meta
• Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs
• Help manage the timelines and deliverables within large, multi-month projects
• Understand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, driving alignment with other system owners
• Drive an overall data strategy for people-related data and Workday's place in it

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Analyse data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to help drive strategic decisions.
• Present data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.

System Optimization:

• Continuously review and improve reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with Workday releases and enhancements to leverage new reporting capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment of integration and reporting activities with organizational goals.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and insights.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, providing updates on reporting activities and outcomes.

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience working in Workday
• At least one full implementation of Workday, with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience
• 8+ years of experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, BIRT reporting, EIB, and Core Connectors
• Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
• Strong technical experience with XML and Java
• 8+ years of experience in Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Worksheets, Calculated Fields, and dashboards.
• 8+ years' experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields
• 8+ years' experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
• Strong understanding of Workday security configuration, policies, and best practices.
• Experience with security auditing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
