Control & Monitoring System engineer
Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of CMS work at site.
- Proper checklists and Inspection request to be maintained for all the service activities.
- Ensure proper preventive maintenance plan is being followed up and implemented as per the planned schedule.
- Carrying out the daily CAT IIIB inspection and ensuring the serviceability of the route as per the design and standards.
- Ensure the daily check of the CAT IIIB route and planning for rectification of the abnormalities identified in the system.
- Co-ordination with Air Traffic Controller and other stakeholders of the airport for obtaining permissions and to carry out works on the CMS system.
- Support of commissioning of CMS software/patch updates during project execution by third party Contractors.
- A regular monitoring and maintenance of highly critical servers of Airfield Lighting Systems.
- Ensure the CMS system is maintained as per manufacture guidelines or best industry practices.,
- Regular back up of the CMS systems to avoid any interruption in operations.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of work experience on operation and maintenance for AGL & CMS
- Thorough knowledge in the areas of integration and hands on experience in handling AGL Systems, networks and Software development.
- Knowledge of Engineering & Commissioning tools for CCRs, Control & Monitoring Systems
Systems:
- Hands-on experience Configuration, implementation and administration on Servers, Application and Network devices,
- IT infrastructure design and architecture across multiple distributed computing technologies - including server Hardware, network
- Strong Knowledge & Experience in Sun Solaris Platform. Good Understanding of trouble shooting & Solaris Commands. Strong experience in interfacing of external devices.
Network:
- A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
- Hands on experience in designing Topology, implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
- Working knowledge on Cisco Switches and Cisco routers
- Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs. application/systems
- Understanding of routing, switching, multipath in network
- Diploma/B. E/ B. TECH in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
- An ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of work experience on operation and maintenance for AGL & CMS.
- Thorough knowledge in the areas of application engineering, integration and hands on experience in handling Systems, networks and Software configuration.
- Hands-on experience in implementation and administration on Servers, Application and Network devices
- Good Knowledge & Experience in Sun Solaris Platform.
- Test Design and Test Execution of Solutions/Product related to Airfield Lighting Systems like CCRs & Control Monitoring Systems.
- Hands on experience on Microprocessor CCR.
