We work together in several alluring, customized labs where we design, engineer and develop the best products in the world. As a Softgoods Materials Lab Engineer, you will provide in-depth material knowledge across a range of products and drive scientific studies through designing experiments, gathering characterization data and analyzing results. You will work with design, manufacturing and reliability teams to spec key material properties, develop novel test methods, anticipate risks, and perform root cause analyses. With this team, you will innovate at the material level to create unique aesthetics and highly functional softgoods products that amaze and delight our customers.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering (Materials Focus), Materials Science, Polymer Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of hands-on lab experience with soft materials
- excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to a multi-disciplinary team
- PhD in degrees listed above
- 3+ years of industry experience focusing on applied R&D for soft materials
