Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Skilled communicator, ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
  • Experience working with regional or field marketing teams.
  • Experience in software, cloud computing, or related industries.
  • Understanding, or experience managing, budget and working with Finance teams.
  • Understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metric analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and Business ROB: You will work across a complex set of stakeholders in other organizations to collectively design a planning process and Rhythm of Business (ROB) that meets the needs of the business. From the details of templates and workbacks, to the strategy of executive landing and investments, you will need to be able to operate at multiple levels across various projects.
  • Budget Management: Partner with Finance and across various event execution teams to build and manage a budget view across Microsoft event types, inclusive of first party and third party events. This budget view will span across event execution teams, and will help to build a shared understanding of event investments.

  • Business Reviews: Develop executive commercial event marketing performance reviews. Working across stakeholders from many parts of the business, you will drive alignment across key metrics, ensure executive storytelling with actionable insights, and seek out cross business learnings.
