Position Overview:
The Head of Information Management will design and implement a comprehensive data program that integrates master reference data, establishes common definitions and standards, and creates a unified data model. This role is critical for enhancing our analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning capabilities, and ensuring that firmwide data feeds into finance and regulatory reporting requirements. Additionally, this role will design a semantic layer to support Citi Private Bank, Citi Gold, and Workplace Wealth LOBs along with all the Investment Solutions, Banking, and Lending teams. The Head of Information Management will also drive the creation and adoption of a canonical data model. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management within a financial services context, with a proven ability to lead complex data projects and foster a culture of data excellence.
-Data Program Design:
- Develop and lead the implementation of a master reference data program.
- Establish common data definitions and standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Create and maintain a unified data model to support analytics, reporting, AI, machine learning, and other applications.
- Drive the creation and adoption of a canonical data model.
-Data Integration and Quality:
- Oversee the integration of disparate data sources into a cohesive data ecosystem.
- Implement robust data quality frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Ensure that firmwide data feeds into finance and regulatory reporting requirements.
-Analytics and Reporting:
- Facilitate the development of advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure that private bankers, sales professionals, and senior management have access to timely and accurate data for decision-making.
-AI and Machine Learning:
- Promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
-Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- At least 15 years of experience in the wealth management industry.
- Proven experience in the financial services or wealth management industry.
- Strong background in data governance, data architecture, and data analytics.
- Experience in data modeling and large-scale integrations.
- Experience in wealth management Finance is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Hadoop, Tableau, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
