This job is responsible for leading cross functional teams to manage infrastructure delivery, including initiatives within Application Production Services and Engineering. Key responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for application teams and working with Technology stakeholders, Service Providers, and the business to deliver the Infrastructure Portfolio. Job expectations may include oversight and management of programs, coordinating activities across functional teams, remediating or escalating issues, and ensuring funding levels are maintained for key technology strategies.

Requires strong technical writing, process, workflow, diagramming, verbal, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to work on their own, successfully deliver “best in class" Process that sustain and advance an established RDM Engineering Process Control Manual (Playbook). The Playbook includes functional processes solutions for established and new/emerging activities that prepare and enable new and existing team members to perform consistently, at a high level in complex, highly controlled and regulated environment. Must have the ability to interpret and organize source information, progress comprehensive process and reporting portfolio agendas.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees infrastructure delivery (scope, milestones, and capability) of the book of work and executes and monitors the progress of initiatives/projects to address roadblocks and issues proactively, including infrastructure impacted book of work and Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic efforts
  • Acts as a single point of contact for all technology stakeholder needs including network, storage, server, and TI supporting software and serves as a point of escalation for issues and defining plans to resolve and communicate those problems requiring further attention
  • Reports on key metrics, prioritizes the work across the portfolio, and monitors the overall health of the portfolio
  • Manages trusted relationships with the business and technology leaders and prepares a detailed portfolio level plan to agree on deliverables, including service levels and milestones
  • Manages yearly and monthly initiative funding budget and allocations, providing financial transparency for Technology Cost of Application (TCOA) chargebacks, capital forecasting, initiative finances, and stale application volumes
  • Communicates Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) strategies, services, and products to technology stakehold
  • Integrate new/updated content into existing portfolio
  • Continuously improve, maintain, and expand the Process Portfolio and knowledgebase for the Network Deployment Engineering Team
  • Facilitate update cycles and activities to maintain Playbooks, supporting processes and documentation for all functional areas into consumable content
  • Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing content
  • Collaborate with the RDM team leads & SMEs to support, guide, and produce process and documentation content
  • Consolidate content from multiple sources to define process workflows, documentation formats, and templates
  • Compose process control narrative, supporting documentation and sub-process

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience required in a Technology Services role involved in the creation, maintenance and optimization of process control standards and knowledgebase content supporting technology services functions
  • In depth understanding of the Deployment Engineering function in the context of Enterprise Change and the ability to apply that knowledge across technical domains, SMEs, and Leadership
  • In depth knowledge around documentation techniques to producing and editing complex documents and process flows
  • Thorough understanding of Network's Functional /Technical domains, SMEs, and Leadership
  • Detailed understanding of Engineering function in the context of Enterprise Change Management
  • Extensive Knowledge and applied experience with process tools, concepts, and conventions
  • Self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative
  • Focused on execution, delivery, and commitment to dates
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
  • Understand and manage risk; contemplate impacts, from risk, a good decision maker

  • Ability to be flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relative technical field; technical writing, process rationalization and rendering
  • Aligned Industry Certifications are preferred, technical certifications
