You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Deployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO)
- Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation- Resolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Delivery of further initiatives to improve the efficiency of our data centers or our operations proceduresA day in the life* Be at the nexus of action: Your involvement in data center delivery will be mission-critical to the successful deployment of our data centers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Control system integration: experience building, commissioning and delivering unified automated control system for enterprise level clients, consolidating equipment and subsystems; hardware, software, networking products from multiple vendors, experience with proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers2. Industry standard programming: Experience with PLC or SCADA programming, and scripted programming languages3. Project management: experience with scoping, scheduling, cost management, vendor/sub-contractor management


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Critical environments experience: data centers (preferred) or other critical environments (defense, pharmaceutical, hospitals, research laboratories, oil and gas)
2. Electrical or mechanical controls systems experience
3. Controls construction or service experience in one or more of:
- Controls system architecture design
- Controls system installation
- Controls quotation and procurement
4. Controls technology experience in one or more of:
i) Building Management Systems (BMS):
- Siemens: Apogee
- Honeywell: Building Controls
- Trend: Building Controls
- Schneider Electric: Struxureware/EcoStruxure
- Rockwell Automation: FactoryTalk
- Tridium: Niagara
- Johnson Controls: Metasys
ii) Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS):
- Eaton: Foreseer
- ABB: Decathlon
- Schneider Electric: PowerLogic/Power Monitoring Expert
- Inductive Automation: Ignition
iii) Industrial Protocols:
- BACnet
- Modbus
- MQTT
- OPC
5. Education and certification:
- B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or related project management certification
