What you’ll do:
- Help to manage a team covering critical control functions across FDC. An ability to create a positive environment to constructively challenge and develop our people and processes will be key to success in this role
- An ability to critically assess processes and produce detailed requirements where improvements are required
- Solve complex inquiries, and complete due diligence activities for management requests, Audits etc.
- Provide detailed analysis of issues where necessary and recommend actions for tactical and strategic fixes
- Drive and champion change across the team, deliver solutions to implement process improvements partnering with a number of internal stakeholders across Operations, the Business, Technology and Finance
- Use MIS to establish trends in data and partner with technology and/or operations partners to deliver creative solutions to increase controls within the department
- An understanding of accounting flows of the derivatives product life cycleto partner with Finance on balance-sheet substantiation efforts
What we’ll need from you:
- Previous product relevant experience preferred.
- People management experience is preferred
- A background as a finance controller is preferred
- Experience with large scale system migrations is preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
Qualifications:
- Prior relevant experience
- Experience in a derivatives processing role or as a financial controller
