The Digital Learning Specialist is accountable for the implementation, utilization and adoption of the Learning Management System in EMEA Endoscopy, as well as acts as Instructional Designer for the development of trainings. The role reports to the Associate Director, Commercial Learning & Development for Endoscopy EMEA.
LMS Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance for the EMEA Endoscopy LMS evolution, recommending technology or workflow solutions to efficiently deliver & track trainings, as well as improve user experience
- Project map and plan the launch and implementation of new LMS functionalities, collaborating and communicating with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with Global Sales Training, EMEA LMS CoE and other BSC divisional counterparts to leverage shared catalogs and technology expertise to maximize the use of learning content and successful implementation of new LMS functionalities
- Maintain the daily operation and use of the LMS, including establishing curricula, users, user groups and other sub-systems, managing taxonomy, resolving or escalating technical problems, providing user support, and deliver training to key stakeholders
- Create, maintain and distribute dashboards and reports that meet the business needs
Instructional Design Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial Learning and Development Managers in the creation of new trainings providing instructional design expertise and guidance
- Create e-learning modules, virtual sessions, presential trainings and curriculums as per key strategic business needs. A good understanding of Authoring Tools is required to deliver the best learning experience and to guide the teams
- Assess and recommend new learning tools and platforms to enhance user learning experiences in the different potential deployment forms (e-learning, virtual, presential)
- Support Commercial Learning & Development managers in the execution of Virtual Training programs
- Define system of assessment and certification for trainings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Informational Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a LMS administrator or experience equivalency
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Instructional Designer or experience equivalency
- Experience as administrator of Adobe Learning Manager, and other authoring tools (Captivate, Storyline, Rise, Brainshark…)
- Experience with user roles and permissions, taxonomy, course creation and maintenance, and troubleshooting user problems in learning management systems
- Multimedia tools knowledge will be valuable
- Strong project management and organizational skills combined with ability to work independently and proactively as part of a collaborative team
- Strong analytical skills in identifying technical problems and providing solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: can articulate thoughts and ideas (technical and non-technical) clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Strategic and creative mindset
- High level -fluent English Language required
