Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 12 – 15 years in application development and management.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical lead in translating customer/client requirements into High Level Design by partnering with stakeholders (technical executives, product owners, product managers, designers, and other teams).
• Solid (5+ yrs) experience in providing technical direction to the development team through mentoring, coaching and guidance to team members on technical specifications, architecture, design, coding standards and best practices.
• 3+ Hands on experience in working with clients, customer facing and support teams in handling customer problems and escalations.

Technical skills:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in developing applications using programming languages: C++, PL/1, Java, GO (knowledge of Assembly is advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in developing tools and products using at least one scripting language: Ansibile, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, Ruby, Rust, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Proficient in developing products and offerings on Linux/Unix based systems. “

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experienc in developing appliction on zOS environment
• Solid knowledge of databases and familiarity with at least one database system:
• SQL / NoSQL databases such as Db2, Mongo, Couchbase, IMS etc.)
• Solid understanding of Test methodologies, frameworks, processes and tools.
• Thorough understanding of source control management tools (GitHub) and Agile Life Cycle Management tools.
