The Role
As a Senior Solution Advisor in the South Market Unit, you will utilize SAP S/4HANA solution technology to amaze our customers by realizing their vision and solving their most complex problems. You will be an essential part of our sales teams focusing on our customer’s value journey. You will be responsible for discovering what our prospects and customers want to achieve during transformation, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating on how SAP is uniquely positioned to deliver their desired outcomes. You will consult customers in financial best practices. You will focus on one or more of the following areas:
· Financial close & consolidations
· Project & management accounting
· Finance operations
· Asset accounting
· Core finance: AR/AP
In this role, you will:
· Actively support our regional sales colleagues in enabling them to articulate a clear value proposition around our solution portfolio.
· Engage with our sales and demand organizations to provide solution knowledge and demonstrations when required throughout any relevant sales cycle.
· Lead the solution component of the Finance sales cycles.
· Conduct discovery sessions in advance of a demonstration or key presentation with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships and understand their unique needs.
· Drive a prescriptive outcome with your customers in partnership with the account team.
· Be the face of SAP and bring the solution to life through visual storytelling and demonstrations.
· Effectively present to customers remotely using virtual and digital technologies or in person using Best Run Demo presentation skills.
· Demonstrate industry knowledge to maintain credibility with prospective customers.
· Position SAP considering the competitive landscape.
· Speak about technical topics in every-day language.
· Develop a reputation for excellence in customer engagement.
· Collaborate on strategic internal projects.
· 2 years of relevant presales OR operational and corporate finance experience
· Strong knowledge/background in operational and corporate finance end-to-end business processes
· Presentation and written communication skills
· SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition ERP solution knowledge or SAP ECC knowledge
· Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
· CPA: preferred
· Master equivalent: optional
Western US/Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles, Greater Phoenix area preferred.
