This role focuses on hands-on design work, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration to improve the end-to-end live seller journey. You will be challenged to balance creativity and usability, using advanced design and prototyping tools, while also building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across disciplines.

What You'll Accomplish

• Contribute to product design and UX for eBay Live seller experiences, focusing on onboarding, event setup, inventory, and post-sale workflows.

• Apply advanced mastery of Figma and prototyping tools to create, iterate, and hand off interactive design assets and user flows.

• Help develop and refine design concepts based on research and feedback from sellers, in close partnership with content and research peers.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, research, content) to support the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive seller value.

• Participate in user testing, workshops, and field research to validate design decisions and gather insights.

• Present design rationale and solutions to peers and occasionally to senior stakeholders using clear storytelling and narrative techniques.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of professional product design experience, ideally in ecommerce, live commerce, marketplace, or related seller-facing environments.

• Advance mastery of Figma and prototyping tools, with a portfolio that demonstrates impactful contributions to product design and user experience.

• Strong storytelling skills in presenting design thinking, rationale, and user journeys to team members and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with content and research peers, integrating insights and narratives into design solutions.

You’ll report directly into the Senior Manager of eBay Live and work closely with cross-functional partners in design, product, engineering, research, and marketing. You will be a primary driver advancing eBay Live to industry leadership by deeply understanding seller pain points, innovating on design solutions, and integrating Live workflows into core selling experiences.

• Lead design strategy, architecture, and vision for eBay Live seller experiences, enabling retention and growth in a competitive live commerce landscape.

• Drive end-to-end product design, championing service-design methodologies to define and elevate the Live seller journey (onboarding, pre-stream, in-stream, post-stream, business management).

We are seeking a software-minded engineer with strong development skills who can build reliable tools and services that interact with our network and security platforms. The role emphasizes designing, implementing, and maintaining automation that improves day‑to‑day operations, developer experience, and system reliability. The ideal candidate is fluent in Python, comfortable with Git, testing, and CI/CD, and brings a solid grasp of networking concepts. Experience with firewalls or security tooling is welcome but not required—you will have opportunities to learn these systems while contributing meaningful engineering work.

• Lead engineering projects to enhance firewall management and network security systems

• Build and maintain lab environments for testing automation and operations tools

• Develop Python plugins and scripts for security operations automation

• Experience using design thinking methodologies & UCD processes to drive collaboration across agile, cross-functional teams in a large organization

• Hands-on experience driving product and concept development, including generative research, storyboarding, user-journey mapping, competitive analysis, prototyping, qualitative interviews and quantitative testing

• Ability to synthesize ambiguity, bringing industry trends, research, team insights, business priorities, and partner feedback into actionable UX strategy and design execution
