The job of the Exchange Engineer at Expoint is an essential role, responsible for maintaining the performance, uptime, and utilization of the company's global exchange systems, ensuring that all global applications are compatible and configured for maximum performance in the Exchange environment. The Exchange Engineer will use a proactive approach to troubleshooting, problem solving, and working autonomously to identify and resolve issues. This role requires an extensive knowledge, experience, and comfort with the technologies comprising of Exchange, Active Directory, Mailbox Management, and Virtualization. As a resilient problem solver, the Exchange Engineer will work closely with other departments and with operations personnel to develop effective engineering solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting and supporting Exchange performance, architecture, and closely related technology environments, as well as a firm understanding of general computer networks and data center operations. The Exchange Engineer must possess the ability to coordinate with users, other engineers and departments in order to build and support large, distributed exchange systems and service applications.
