You'll also be tasked with partnering with vendors to develop and improve policies and procedures. Successful EHS Managers have excellent communications, organizational, and problem-solving skills. They take initiative, think logically, and respond quickly to situations. They possess technical knowledge of building and infrastructure codes, workplace laws, and hazardous materials regulations. Experience in occupational safety, compliance management and/or auditing, carrying out safety inspection and training, and developing an understanding of the regulations that apply to the organization are just a few of the qualifications EHS Managers must possess.
