Cyber Security Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing robust IT security systems for organizations, ensuring that their networks and systems remain secure from malicious code and data theft.
A Cyber Security Engineer should have an in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and wide-ranging security experience with multiple platforms and technologies. This includes being able to assess, analyze, develop and improve existing and upcoming security protocols.
You will be required to configure security tools, such as Intrusion Detection System (IDS) tools, firewalls and patch management tools. You will also need to conduct risk and security assessments, configure security policies and develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
