As a Channel Manager in the tech industry, you will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to increase sales and market share through key partner and channel relationships. You will identify and develop new channel partners, manage existing relationships, and negotiate contracts or agreements with the various channel partners.
A successful Channel Manager has the ability to understand the latest developments and trends in the tech industry and the emerging market opportunities. You must have an understanding of the different channel types, their target audiences, and the unique skills and knowledge needed to manage them. You must also have experience in bargaining and negotiations with channel partners, and should have proven success sustaining long-term relationships.
