This role will involve understanding the company’s business model and processes, obtaining, verifying and evaluating financial, operational, and compliance information. You must be able to efficiently identify and assess areas of risk and develop appropriate action plans with the goal of preventing or minimizing risk exposure. Furthermore, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be expected to effectively present audit observations to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you should possess a working knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations. You may also be required to review financial documentation and effectively manage heavy workloads. You must have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, strong analytical skills, as well as extensive experience in auditing and reporting.
