Accounting Analyst jobs

The Accounting Analyst role at Expoint is both complex and interesting. Accounting Analysts are responsible for providing financial analysis and consulting to Expoint’s executive management and other departments. They are responsible for preparing and interpreting financial information for budget analysis and forecasting. The Accounting Analyst must be able to accurately interpret financial information in order to identify and solve financial problems, generate cost savings, and ensure financial stability. They will be in charge of developing complex financial modeling and simulation processes to assist decision makers in their strategic planning process. Accounting Analysts will work very closely with the management team to ensure that current and projected financial performance is maximized and that sound decisions are made. In addition, the Accounting Analyst will be expected to maintain and constantly improve Expoint’s general ledger, accounting systems, and internal control processes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. They will also constantly review Expoint’s accounting policies to identify any areas for improvement. The successful Accounting Analyst candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. They should also have strong analytical and numerical skills, be proficient in accounting software, be familiar with both theory and practice of financial modeling, and have a good understanding of financial statements.
