This job is responsible for managing a financial center (FC) in collaboration with senior team members, supporting the operational excellence of the FC and ensuring that all aspects run effectively and cohesively. Key responsibilities include overseeing of functions such as the smooth and efficient functioning of the teller line, day-to-day policy and procedure adherence, and improvement of financial center performance. Job expectations include ensuring that directives are implemented and taking up leadership responsibility for the financial center when teammates are absent.

Tax Accountant, Tax, International Tax Services (Transfer Pricing) Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1641709), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to deliver to our clients quality transfer pricing advice through the tax life cycle (planning, accounting, compliance and controversy). Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business. Perform transfer pricing analysis reflecting the international business operations of the client. Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), review the transfer pricing section of the quarterly tax provision prepared by clients as part of their financial statement requirements, defend transfer pricing in audits, work in the valuation of intangible assets and deliver high-quality practical tax planning solutions.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Alternatively, will accept a PhD degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Management, Policy, Tax, Law or related field and 2 years of business advisory, transfer pricing, economic consulting and/or Federal/ International business tax consulting work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in advising clients on the technical aspects of transfer pricing, and in sharing, relating and communicating technical and business knowledge across clients without violating confidentiality.
Must have 2 years of experience in transfer pricing planning, documentation or controversy work projects.
Must have 2 years of experience with the preparation of APA documentation.
Must have 2 years of experience in economic modeling.
Must have 1 year of experience reviewing transfer pricing analysis prepared by junior staff.
Must have 1 year of experience managing tax compliance engagements, including engagement-related budgeting and billing, serving as a primary point of contact for clients, and escalating issues to tax partners or executives as needed.
