Rate of Pay and Benefits:
are paid a top hourly base rate of $43.80, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $43.60 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Display positive attitude and practice strong work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy and goals of Tesla
- Assist with planning, parts acquisition, project coordination and communication with a focus on meeting project deadlines and cost goals without affecting ongoing production
- Acting as an in-house construction technician, perform hands on installation, start up and commissioning of equipment and systems as needed
- Enthusiastically cross train and support peers with project work that is outside of your core skill set
- Identify and communicate quality and safety improvement opportunities. Engage in training on new tools, systems, equipment and procedures as needed
- Accurately log work hours and part consumption using provided computer systems. Identify and openly communicate methods, procedures and tools to improve the service offerings of the Facilities Project Team
- Support other projects as needed by management when business needs change
- Demonstrated proficiency and work experience in the commercial/industrial electrical trade, experience with national electric code, electrical construction & installation.
- Degree or skilled trades certificate program, relevant military or equivalent experience
- Ability to bend and install conduit through 4” in size. Able to lift up to 30 lbs., repetitive at times, work at elevations up to 50 ft
- Experience installing Ethernet and fiber optics a plus
- Detail-oriented, positive attitude, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities. Demonstrated ability to learn and troubleshoot mechanical or instrument and control systems
- Experience in safe work practices that includes OSHA & Emergency Response Training, fall protection, LOTO
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

- Manage capacity planning standards for all energy remanufacturing lines in the factory
- Create operating plans for all production lines, including labor requirements, breaking strategies, and shift schedules using linear programming, and assess headcount addition/removal requests based on line needs and requirements
- Conduct options analysis for existing line optimization and new line installations and estimate resource requirements for factory footprint expansion projects
- Perform capacity studies and static sensitivity analyses to identify factors impacting line throughput (OEE, Headcount, number of material handling equipment) and make recommendations for improvement
- Perform discrete event simulation modeling and statistical modeling to influence key business decisions
- Lead continuous improvement exercises across various manufacturing functions and standardize metrics and problem solving tools
- Design assembly line, support space, and amenity area layouts using quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques to facilitate smooth operations and optimize cost/sqft
- 3+ years’ experience in Industrial Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive multiple projects with diverse teams in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Experience with automated/semi-automated manufacturing lines and robotics is a plus
- Distinguishing experiences/skills: 2D CAD, lean manufacturing, work measurement, analytics (SQL, Tableau), discrete event simulation (FlexSIM), operations research, lean manufacturing, scale manufacturing experience, etc.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
