Assist with planning, parts acquisition, project coordination and communication with a focus on meeting project deadlines and cost goals without affecting ongoing production
Acting as an in-house construction technician, perform hands on installation, start up and commissioning of equipment and systems as needed
Enthusiastically cross train and support peers with project work that is outside of your core skill set
Identify and communicate quality and safety improvement opportunities. Engage in training on new tools, systems, equipment and procedures as needed
Accurately log work hours and part consumption using provided computer systems. Identify and openly communicate methods, procedures and tools to improve the service offerings of the Facilities Project Team
Support other projects as needed by management when business needs change
What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated proficiency and work experience in the commercial/industrial electrical trade, experience with national electric code, electrical construction & installation.
Degree or skilled trades certificate program, relevant military or equivalent experience
Ability to bend and install conduit through 4” in size. Able to lift up to 30 lbs., repetitive at times, work at elevations up to 50 ft
Experience installing Ethernet and fiber optics a plus
Detail-oriented, positive attitude, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities. Demonstrated ability to learn and troubleshoot mechanical or instrument and control systems
Experience in safe work practices that includes OSHA & Emergency Response Training, fall protection, LOTO
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
